Water Technology Forum - Vancouver

The Water Technology Forum provided attendees with cutting edge knowledge about zero liquid discharge, brine treatment and other wastewater treatment technologies. Hosted by Saltworks Technologies in partnership with BQE Water, Marabex and Boydel, the event brought together local and international attendees to share knowledge, build networks and learn from one another.

Tour of a Zero Liquid Discharge Mine Water Treatment Plant

Our latest SaltMaker MultiEffect Evaporator Crystallizer is currently being shipped to a mine in the Canadian arctic where mine water shaft will be treated to achieve zero liquid discharge (ZLD). The produced salts will be reused to desalt the mine. Megan Low and Ben Sparrow give a walking tour of the SaltMaker, guiding you through various parts of the plant.
