This announcement comes on the heels of multiple major milestones, including the release of new patented technologies such as Saltworks’ Gen-II Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE). The company’s lithium refining system will take center stage in Project Aurora, a multi-million-dollar partnership with EMP Metals to build and deliver Canada’s first lithium brine refinery in Saskatchewan.

Built on a patented design using alumina adsorbents and pressurized membranes, the system has undergone extensive trials and optimization.
Saltworks launches FusionRO, a hybrid UHP RO/NF membrane brine concentrator that achieves >220,000 mg/L TDS. Built on UHP RO and NF, FusionRO offers a lower-cost, scalable, and smaller footprint solution, minimizing the cost and size of downstream thermal treatment.
